Richard, would you come up with me, please.  Mike Hayes, are you here?  Mike, would you come up, please.  Listen to this.  He said, “Call those thing that be not as though they were.”  What is there not in your life that you desperately need, you urgently need?  God says that His faith is this, and He worked it through Abraham.  But in Romans 4:17, God explains His own faith nature. And God told us to have faith.  But the other translation is, have the faith of God, which means, have the God kind of faith. And what is God’s faith?  He calls those things that be not as though they were.  He called this earth into existence, as though it already was.  He called us into the world as though we were already born.  He does this all the time.  That’s His faith. That’s our faith.

What is it in your life, in my life?  Is it a car you need to call?  It’s very important if you don’t have a good car.  Is it a home?  It’s terribly important if you don’t have one.  Is it money you need?  If you don’t have money, you can’t even eat. You can’t buy clothes, you can’t do anything if you don’t have money.

And He said, “Call those things that be not as though they were.”  And tonight we three men are going to call things.  And I’m going to stand here as Moses and give a prophetic utterance. We three men are not Moses, but Moses was not us.  I want to make a big point of that.  He was not us.  Moses is gone, but we’re here.  We’re prophets of God.

And I’m going to give to this section here a prophetic utterance as Moses gave those people.  And then Richard will follow and Mike will follow.  These two sections stand, and I want you to touch every part of your body right now.  And I want you to stretch your hands out toward them, because we’ll be getting to you soon.  Touch every part of your body, your head, your face, your shoulders, every part of your body that could possibly need a healing now or some time.

Now then, put one hand on your body and the other on the shoulder of your neighbor.  And look upon us, the servants of God.  And these are stretching their hands out.

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I pronounce upon you a prophetic utterance that God is going to make you a thousand times more.  He’s going to open your mind with scores of new ideas.  Just one of them could completely change your life. He’s going to give you insights that you never even dreamed of. He’s going to give you concepts for a way of life that you’ve never had before.  And you’re going to start experiencing the big leap from Abraham over Moses, over the law, over even what Jesus talked about, the thirty, sixty, hundredfold, over that, into the book of Acts, into the church, into Paul’s ministry, into Galatians 3:29, that if you belong to Christ, the land is yours, the promise is yours.  You’re going to make the big leap into the thousand times more.

So Abram comes out of all this mess, and he takes his son Lot and he gets called into a place that he doesn’t know where he’s going but he will know when he gets there. That’s a lot like riding in the car with me.  LAUGHTER  I don’t always know where I’m going, but I’ll know when I get there so just buckle your seatbelt and just stay with me. I’ll eventually find it.

So he gets out, and he goes to a place he doesn’t know where he’s going until he gets there.  And the next thing you know, his nephew Lot-dear Lord, be careful of some of your family members.  It’s time we had some sense.  Yes, pray for them.  But, Honey, if they’re not going to heaven, don’t let them drag you down.  You just keep taking them along the journey, but there came a point even with Abram that he had to separate from some stupidity.

And sometimes in our life, we have to separate.  And God does call us to be a peculiar people.  A peculiar people means holy, separated apart for the service of God.  And people look at you like you’re the nut, and if they do, cut and run, because when you know God has called you to do something, and He’s called you to be somebody, not everybody will understand it.  And not everybody will help you get there.  In fact, you’ll meet a lot of people on the way that will try and pull you away from your miracle.

And Lot, God bless his heart, just had a gift for messing up.  And so Abram tried to pull him along and pull him along.  And then he gets kidnapped, and then he gets in a mess, and in the middle of all of it, Abram goes and rescues him, pulls him back, gets him in order, and everything seems to be fine.  And when he wins the battle, all of a sudden, he has got spoils and riches like he’d never seen before.

Now he was already a wealthy man, but this was an abundance.  And out comes Melchizedek.  The Bible calls him “the priest of Salem.”  Also calls him the king of Salem. Keep in mind he is a priest and a king.  And if you follow the lineage of everything-the other day I got a lesson from Oral Roberts.  It was probably two hundred pages long.  We were probably sitting with him six hours when we were out in California.  I never wrote so fast in all my life.  I wrote through every one of those little yellow legal pads that he had in the house.  And I began to study what “The Blessing of Abraham” meant.

And do you know what happens in the deep water?  The sharks come out of the woodwork.  But I’ll tell you something, if you’ll get in the deep water and totally cover yourself-do you know what happens when you’re totally covered with the anointing of the Holy Spirit?  There’s no flesh left outside.  And when you get totally covered in the Word of God and there’s nothing left of your flesh and you begin to die to yourself so that as I decrease, He might increase, do you know what happens?  James 1 happens.  “Count it all joy when you fall into all kinds of different trials and tests.”

So now you’re in the with the sharks, and they start to bite, and it hurts.  What do you do when it hurts?  What do you do when the sharks start to bite?  What do you do when there’s nobody out there in the deep water, and the fun is still back at the shore?  “Oh, we got to dabble in the anointing and it was a real kick.  But I’m out here swimming with the sharks, and my friends are still on the shore.”  And it’s lonely out there, and it hurts out there.  And you’ve got a revelation that maybe nobody else has got and so you think I am a nut out there.

And while you’re out there, you have every opportunity for every trial and every test known to human history to smack you in the face with every shark standing there staring at you, saying, “I dare you to die.”  And yet there’s something inside you called the Word of God that begins to rise up.  And as you begin to rise up, you remember you’re not the green bathrobe anymore.  You’re not even the Mickey Mouse and the white socks and the red slippers anymore.  You’re a new creation in Christ Jesus, and there’s no turning back.  So what do you do?  You do what   you can only do, and that’s turn to the Lord.  You get on your face before God.  My father-in-law wrote a song when he was in the midst of-literally he told you the other day-coming in and out of consciousness.  What do you do when everything else fails?  You turn to the Lord.  You get on your face.  You open the Word.  There is life and life more abundantly in the Word.

Forget what the sharks are saying.  Forget what the dogs are sayings.  Forget what the cats are saying.  They will be there in the morning, I guarantee it, and they’ll bring their friends.  So what?  Get in the Word of God.  And as you do that, every trial, every test, every temptation will come.  And you know what’s really funny?  When you really get out with the sharks, you begin to think they’re all trials and tests and you think everybody is a shark, when in fact, it might not be a shark.  It might be the very move and the very hand of almighty God himself.

Drew, I want you to take your biggest … you need a house to sell.  That’s your biggest problem right now.  Put it close to you.  Focus on it.  Can you see it?  Can you guys see it?  Okay, okay, but that’s your problem, that’s your problem.  Louis, house … okay, same thing.  Houses are big.  Okay, we’ll make a trade.  He’s drawing a picture of a house.  Now Louis is getting artsy. Okay, put it up to your face and focus on it, right up there, focus on it.

No cheating.  Put it up, you bunch of cheating babies. Here, put it right up there, okay?  Okay, now you’re looking at your biggest problem, right?  You’re focusing on your biggest problem.  What’s in front of your face?  Drew, quit cheating. What’s in front of your face right now?  (Problem)  What are you focusing on right now?  (Problem)  What are you looking at right now?  What’s in front of you right now?

Well, drop your cards.  You see, your solution is standing right in front of your face.  But if we focus on the problem, so often we’re so busy focusing on the problem and it’s big to us and it’s right in front of our face and we’re always looking at it and we’re always concentrating, that we don’t see the solution that’s staring us right in the face.  Thank you.  Okay, thank you.  That was it.  That’s all you had to do.  (Applause)

But, you know, we need to understand.  That’s why God said we are to renew our mind daily with the Word of God.  “My son,” Proverbs 4:20-23 says, “give attention to my word,” my word, my word, my word.  Why is it so important?  Well, He said, “Give attention to my word.  Incline your ear to my sayings.  Do not let them depart from your eyes.  Keep them in the midst of your heart, for they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh.”  If you want the life of God to live in you, then you’ve got to have the Word of God living in you.  It’s very simple.

The other day my daughter, Chloe Elisabeth, whom we lovingly call “Oral Roberts in a dress,” was enacting something she had watched on television.  Now as a mom, I’ve tried very hard to be very careful what my children see on television.  I happen to love “I Love Lucy.”  I happen to think Barney and Andy are the coolest things on two legs, and I happen to think that, you know, it’s basically okay.  It’s amazing what your children can do with “I Love Lucy.”

 My daughter … you know when Lucy got, Lucy and Ethel got in the shower.  Any of you see that episode, the water filled up and they got stuck and they couldn’t get out?  My daughter tried to reenact it with one of her friends.  And it worked!  And the next thing you know, I see these two little bodies in bathing suits, running down my stairs, going into my kitchen, grabbing all the pans in the house.

Now the next day after she made her $1,000 pledge, she received a $5,000 check in the mail.  She said, “I am so excited because nothing like this has ever happened before.” People sowing seed.

Jeanette here in Tulsa heard us talking the other night about Kenneth Copeland becoming a partner with the Oral Roberts Ministry by putting a pencil in.  He didn’t have $10 to sow, so he put the pencil in.

LR: He pledged $10.

RR: Then a woman came, that he didn’t know, came to him and said, “The Lord told me to give you $10.”  So he exchanged the pencil for $10.

This woman heard me give that testimony, and she said, “I decided to put a $25 seed in.”  She was here in our studio just the other night.  And she said today she received a check for $3,400.

Now that’s miracle stuff, folks.  That’s miracle stuff.  Marilyn, this past Friday in our chapel service, God changed the whole order of the service, and it became a service on breaking the spirit of debt.  Something is happening on this campus.

LR: It’s not money.  It’s the spirit of debt.  It’s not God’s highest and best, it is not scriptural to be operating as the debtor and not the lender.  That is not the Bible.  And I think that we’re learning that we have a Bible right not just seedtime and harvest, which is great, and we are for seedtime and harvest, as long as the earth remains, that’s Genesis, and it’s all through the Bible, but it is breaking the spirit of debt.  You know poverty mentality in your thinking, poverty mentality in your marriage, poverty mentality in your family, poverty mentality in your job. It’s breaking that poverty mentality off of people’s lives.

I wish you could see the video of what we saw with those students.  They began spontaneously to rush the platform.  And, I’m telling you, it was like they came in one way and they went out another.

RR: It was absolutely powerful.

M: Because that’s radical.  If you look at when Jesus told them to fill the six stone water jars, you know, do you realize each jar held thirty gallons?  Six times thirty is a hundred and eighty gallons, and this is a wedding?  You’re not going to drink a hundred and eighty gallons of wine.  You know, maybe at the most it would be two or three gallons.  Why a hundred and eighty?  Because God is magnificent.  He’s radical, and He always wants to radically bless us way beyond.

JS: The night before.

RR: you planted the seed of your suit. God had prepared the way.

JS: Isn’t that what II Corinthians says?

RR: That’s exactly what it says.

JS: It says “God provides seed for the sower.”  Now here’s what I hear. God is saying, “If you will make sowing your way of sustaining your life, I promise sowers will never be without seed.  Sowers will never be without seed.”

I don’t always have what I need, but I am never without the seed that will produce it. Now there are people watching tonight, and they may not have what they need to pay their bills, to get out of debt, to buy their children’s clothes.

RR: To break the spirit of debt off their life.

JS: That’s right.  But they do have the seed that will break the debt, okay? Now from that moment forward, Richard, I have never lacked for clothes. I can’t wear all the clothes God gives me. I’ve got preachers all over Africa wearing my suits. I’ve got them in Haiti wearing my suits. From that moment

RR: When you give them to them, God blesses you back.

JS: That’s right. And what He’s saying is. Another point we need to make it that every seed produces after its own kind. I gave away a suit, I got suits. You plant apples, you get apples. You plant oranges. That’s the law of Genesis. Every seed produces after its own kind.

If you’re in debt tonight, then plant a seed here to get this university out of debt, and it will produce the same harvest. Every seed produces after its own kind. If you need money, you plant money.

That’s like a man said to me one time. He said, “I know what you preachers are doing.  You’re just giving away all that money so you can get more money.”

And I said, “Well, yes, we are.” I said, “What would you think if you walked up to a farmer and said, “I know why you’re planting that corn. You’re just trying to get more corn?”

RR: Exactly.

JS: That’s exactly why he plants the corn. I don’t have enough money to do what God’s called me to do, so the only way I can get it is to plant what I do have.

RR: Jerry, almost every person who has called in the last 24 hours who has planted seed has said, “I’m sowing this against the debt that I had.”

RR: And, Lindsay, that’s what the world would say, “It’s a sick o gimmick.”  Well, stop going I’m going to take something from you, Lindsay stop going to Goliath for advice on David’s ministry, because David cut Goliath’s head off. Quit getting your information from the world. Go to the Word of God. Get your information from the Word of God.

LR: Psalm 1:1:  “Blessed is the man who walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly?

RR: “nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful, not standeth in the way of sinners.”

LR:  ”But his delight is in the law of the Lord.”  Do what the law of the Lord says.

RR:  ”And in that law doth he meditate day and night.”

LR:  ”And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of living water that brings forth his fruit in his season. His leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

RR: It’s His greatest wish. He said, “Beloved, I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health.”  You see, Satan doesn’t want you to get that because he knows what will happen to his kingdom if you begin to prosper. He sold the world a lie that they get to have it all.  But the Bible says it belongs to God.

The wealth of the sinner, the Bible says, is laid up for the just.  Well, it’s laid up. If you and I want it, and the Bible says He gives us the power, what’s the power? The power is in sowing seed, believing for Him to multiply it back, good measure, pressed down, and shaken together and running over. I don’t have time to preach, but I’m ready to, Lindsay.

LR: I was thinking about this today because you all know around here Lindsay likes a garden.

RR: You have a garden.

LR: I have a garden. And, I’m telling you something, every farmer knows this. Now hear me. When people say, “Well, I threw my money away. I did this. I gave to God. I threw that away.”  Or, “They convinced me, I did this.”  No farmer ever throws his seed.  He sows his seed. And he isn’t missing, “Well, I lost that.”

When a farmer sows his seed, he doesn’t lose it. It’s not gone. It’s not missing. It’s in good ground.

So I went back in the house and turned on the TV and waited for you all to come on. And when Kathy started to pray, she said for the children to reach out like they were ready to receive. So I took Brittany’s little arm and I pulled it out from underneath her. She was sound asleep. And I opened her little hands, and I said, “O Lord, just let Your hands be my hands tonight.”

And she started to pray and about the second or third thing she called out, she said, “God is touching scoliosis.”  And I felt the power of God and I started crying. I said, “It is done.”

And I had asked the Lord, “Lord, just show me when they start to pray,? because it was prerecorded and I knew it.

Well, Monday Brittany went to the doctor and they had the x-ray which was a little over two weeks old.  nd when the doctor looked at it, he checked her out.  He said, “I don’t find it.”

RR: Not at all?

J: No.

RR: Not at all.

J: And he said, “Maybe she just wasn’t standing up straight.” Brittany said, “Oh, I was standing up straight.”  She said, “The lady had an arrow,” like a vertical arrow to make her stand up.

RR: How is she tonight?

J: She’s doing wonderful, and she love to play tennis, she loves to play basketball.

RR: And she’s standing straight?

J: Oh, yes, she is. And they were talking about a brace for her to sleep in, and it’s gone. The doctor couldn’t find it. We receive it.

RR: Oh, Jackie, God bless you.

J: I really don’t think that sometimes we really understand all the way God moves. You know, I don’t really think that it was great faith. I think it was just a great God and great love for a child.  Because I’m just like every other Christian, sometimes they think, well, it’s because you’ve got so much faith. You know, I’ve been in a pit. You know, we go through those times, but there’s a time we know we have to touch God and we know His Word and that’s all we can do and stand on it. And that prayer of agreement, there is no more powerful prayer in this world than that prayer of agreement.

I turned into Richard and Lindsay’s program, Something Good Tonight, because, I tell you what, there’s an anointing there. There is an anointing. The power of God does work today. God does heal today, and He’s using Richard and Lindsay, and there is power coming out of Tulsa into our living rooms every day.

RR: Well, there is power. It’s not our power. It’s God’s power. And, friend, this is the Hour of Healing. As you were watching Debbie’s testimony, God gave me a word of knowledge. A word of knowledge is one of the nine gifts of the Spirit, and that gift is flowing through me tonight. It’s not my gift, it’s God’s gift. But He’s flowing that gift through me right now.

There’s a person who’s watching tonight, you have an ulcer on your leg. And as you were watching Debbie’s testimony, it just began to dissolve. If you will examine your leg, you’re going to find the ulcer on your leg is gone. Now whoever you are, you’re watching me right, pick up your phone and call us at the Abundant Life Prayer Group, and let me know who you are.

And I want to come against liver problems. Lindsay, if God can heal Debbie’s liver through prayer in Flint, Michigan, then He can heal your liver. I want everybody here to just lay your hands on yourself as a point of contact for those who are watching tonight with terrible problems in your liver.

In the authority of the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I speak to this liver situation, the cirrhosis of the liver. I speak to the liver that seems to be dying and maybe the medical doctors have said your liver is dying. In Jesus’ name, I pray for the power of God Almighty, the one who came for healing, to resurrect your liver and for you to receive healing. And so I send the word.

Lindsay, I feel the anointing coming through my hands right now. That’s the power of God. You may want to walk over to your television and lay your hands on my hands right now. In the authority of Jesus’ name, I come against the liver condition and the gall bladder. Let me have your hand as a point of contact, Lindsay.

In Jesus’ name, I send the word to your gall bladder, to your kidneys, be made whole. To the ovaries, be made whole. To the cervix, be made whole. Be made whole in all your reproductive system, men and women, in the authority of the name of Jesus, I pray and I believe.

CP: Presently I am here in Orlando doing family practice, and my current position that I’m with, Florida Hospital Family Practice Residency.  And I’m actually faculty, and my job is, I teach residents to be family physicians like myself and I also do private practice.

We were there at Oral Roberts University to be prepared to go into every man’s world.  And my world is really, it’s the medical profession.  And I actually have an opportunity to be a Christian influence, I guess, in three spheres.  The first of that is in the lives of my patients, just knowing that we have God there as the ultimate resource for their healing, for touching their lives, for meeting whatever need it is that they need met in their lives.

The second sphere is, because I’m in academic family medicine, I also have the opportunity to be in every man’s lives in the residents that I train to be family physicians.  And one of the things I really try to accomplish is sensitize them to the reality that their patients are human beings, who are comprised of not only physical and emotional, but also spiritual, and that they would continue to be aware of the needs of the whole man, especially that spiritual component needs to be met.

And, of course, the third area of influence is my colleagues, not only other family practitioners, but specialists in all fields.  And hopefully God is using me to show them that, number one, God is real, God is in the healing business, and that God plays a very, very vital role in our role as physicians in bringing about healing and restoration in people’s lives.

My wife and I, we met at Oral Roberts University.  My wife is truly, she’s a wonderful mate and she’s a blessing from God. As a result of a wonderful marriage, we now have three children. They have been a real sense of joy in our lives.  They’ve also been a challenge, as if raising any family.  I’ve heard it said that God gives us children to make us adults.  And we’re truly experiencing that
