So if you’ve received a healing, begin to come.  And while you’re coming, while you’re coming tonight, while you’re preparing to give a testimony, I’m going to ask the students from Oral Roberts University to sing.  Students, come on over.

If you’ve received a healing tonight, I want you to begin to come.  I want just a few to testify.  Put your hands together and welcome the Oral Roberts University students.  (Applause)  (SINGING)

Hallelujah!  Can you sing something in Hausa?  I like to hear them sing in Hausa.  Sing something in Hausa.  (SINGING)  Hallelujah!

Here’s a woman who was blind.  Bring her here.  David, what happened?  Tell the story.

DAVID: The lady was blind for two years.  I believe it was last night she received her sight.

RR: Tell the people what God did for your eyes.

INT: She came the day before and yesterday.  And the power of God, I have been healed.  And I thank God.  I couldn’t see before.

RR: Now you can see.  Can you see the crowd?  You can see everybody now?

INT: She can see everybody now.

RR: Hallelujah!  What happened to this woman?

DAVID: Dr. Roberts, this lady right here had hearing loss for two years, and it was last night, her hearing was restored.

RR: Tell the people what God did for you last night.

INT: It was two years ago that she couldn’t hear.  I couldn’t hear, I couldn’t see.  But now I can see, I can hear.

RR: She can see and hear.  Hallelujah!  This is just a touch of what God is going to do tonight.  Wherever I have been, I have given the story.  This morning I was in the office of the President of the National Assembly.  He had already heard about the many miracles.

I told him that there were twelve blind people healed last night and that there were more than thirty cripples who walked.  After I came out of his office, there were many who wanted prayer.

Then I was interviewed by the media.  The television reporters were asking me questions.  Three times I talked to them today.  And that interview is on television all across the nation.  And I talked to them about the miracles that Jesus is doing here.

God spoke to me recently prophetically, said, “You are going to be the opposite of Joseph.”  I couldn’t figure out what that word meant.  And the word came forth, “Joseph had seven years of plenty, followed by a famine.”  God said, “You’re going to have seven years of famine, followed by plenty.”  Well, I just finished my seventh year.  (Response)

And God is opening a new threshold for this university, the largest number of students in the history of this university. Our applications are up.  It looks like we’re going to break another record this fall.  The debt is halfway gone.  The rest is gone by faith.

God just may be thrusting you off His wing during this conference.  And you’re flapping because God is launching you into something brand-new.  I’ve got news for you.  That’s your faith talking.  Just keep flapping.

As those plagues came, Israel just kept flapping.  And you and I, we’re supposed to just keep flapping.  The just shall flap by faith.  And they just kept flapping those little wings, flapping and flapping, until all of a sudden something clicked, and it was a whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh.  (Applause)

God created you to soar like an eagle.  You say, “Well, it’s awfully hard to soar with the eagles when I’ve got to live with the turkeys.”  A man said, “I’ve given up on people.  I’m just going to love the world.”  Well, the world is people.  You say,  ”But a born-again turkey is still a turkey.  And many of them sit on the front row of my pew.”  God gave them to you.  And why are they there?  Because you’ve got the smell of sheep on you.  God called you there.  He works through people.  That’s who He works through.

You know, the eagle is an amazing bird.  It has telescopic and microscopic vision.  It can see things very close up, and it can see things very far away.  It can be flying at several thousand feet and see a fish swimming in a river and dive and capture it.  You’ve seen it on film.

They’re amazing, amazing birds.  And they have a way of setting their wings when the windstorms come.  They set their wings.  And the windstorm causes them to rise above.  Airplanes were designed after eagles.  The aeronautic properties in an eagle are almost unlimited.  And they set their wings, and their wings cause them, or the setting of their wings causes them to rise above the storms.

I just heard this story.  One of them was preaching the other Sunday, and he took a sermon out on Oral Roberts on Seed-Faith, and he really gave me down the creek.  And at the end of his sermon, he said, “Now let’s take up our Seed- Faith offering.”  …LAUGHTER…  I thought that was a scream.  I loved that.

I tell you, the entrance of Seed-Faith in 1947 has changed the theology of the church.  It has brought in multi-billions of dollars that would have gone to the devil, that have built churches and sent missionaries and brought in souls, and it’s just beginning.  It’s going from billions to trillions of dollars in the future.  …APPLAUSE…

There are people here who are prospering who ten years ago probably didn’t have $25 in their pocket.  And today you could write a check for $10,000.  I’m telling you, God’s people are taking hold of their prosperity, and they’re going to take over some things, and we’re going to build some things for God that haven’t been built in the history of the world.  …APPLAUSE…

You watch, in the next 10 or 15 years, if Christ tarries, how this campus will flourish when you come here each year to this conference.  You will see the student body almost doubled, but you’ll see other colleges and universities like this springing up all over the world.

I remember one day one of the rich men of Tulsa, a big oil man that supported college-especially Christian colleges-phoned me to come down to see him.  And I did.  And he wanted to brag about how he had supported Christian education, and he wanted me to give him a day to show him ORU.

So I did, and he came out.  And we walked over to the LRC, that big building with the white columns.  He turned to me and said, “Why are you wasting God’s money?”

I said, “I didn’t know I was wasting God’s money.”    He said, “You know, I only give to Christian colleges who use concrete blocks.”

“Well,? I said, “there’s nothing wrong with concrete blocks, but that’s not what God told me to do.”  …RESPONSE…  “God told me to build the most beautiful thing this nation has ever seen, the most excellent.  He told me to build the most excellent place.”

“Well,? he said, “I’m not going to give you any money.”  

And I didn’t say anything out loud, but under my breath I said, “Well, I believe I’ll make it.”  …LAUGHTER…

I don’t know. I think that I have seen more caringness, nurses not just doing nursing for a paycheck, but nurses doing nursing because they care about people. And the response, quickly responding to patient’s calls when a nurse call light is on. Or just, or the attitude, I’m sorry I wasn’t here quicker, I was tied up with so and so. You know, what can I do to help you? And I just think the caringness comes out in whether you’re doing a treatment, pouring water, just talking with them.

Caring, caring, caring is a key word. Would you pass that microphone to David Wakefield. David, as a prayer partner, you go throughout the hospital, through the clinic, you’re praying with people every day. What do you feel? What are you sensing in your spirit that’s happening at the City of Faith? Well, Richard Roberts, I think that with the Seed-Faith ministry to patients that we had, this is one of the greatest things we’ve ever done.

I’ve been with the ministry since ’68 and we not only preach it but we practice it. And many of these people who are Seed-Faith have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. And they come here to get medical care but they get a lot more than that. They get a salvation experience with Jesus that they wouldn’t have heard unless they got medical care first. And it’s fantastic. People get a healing that they will take with them through eternity.

Well, I want to give you an opportunity today, and I’m so glad you could stop by for a minute. I know the busy schedule. We, things are moving here at the City of Faith. Things are happening here. The nurses are busy, the doctors are busy. I know you’re in need right now, Jim, of more physicians. You’re in need of more nurses. Do you want to say a word about it?

I sure do, Richard Roberts. Somebody is probably watching the television program right now who knows of a physician or maybe you are a physician or your husband is one or your wife’s one, and something down in your heart is saying to you, perhaps the City of Faith is the place where I ought to serve God. We need Spirit Filled physicians who will come here and minister all of God’s healing power, who can practice expert medicine but who are willing to accept the fact that God is the Source of healing and that God heals.

We just treat and diagnose and pray and believe and love and care, but God heals. That’s the kind of physician we’re looking for.

I believe that when you sow a seed so that others can receive miracles in their lives, miracles will begin to break forth in your life. I believe that with all my heart, because the Bible says in Galatians 6:7, “What­ever you sow, you’ll reap.” And when you give into the lives of other people, God will multiply it back, “good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over” into your life (Luke 6:38).
