RR:  We receive so many wonderful letters and testimonies.  And if you’re receiving a touch from God or if you’ve received a touch from God through this ministry, take time to sit down and share a letter with me.  Let me know what God’s doing.  And I want you to meet one of our prayer partners.  Hal Lavery, come over just a minute.  Hal is one of our prayer partners and he has some testimonies that I want to share.  It’s all right, Hal, come on in.  I’ll give you a microphone here.  Give him a good handclap.  (Applause)  Bless you.  Let’s see here, Hal, let you put that on your tie.  Hal helps us through the Abundant Life Prayer Group during the mornings and then in the afternoons he goes over to the Healing Outreach Center and is one of those prayer partners there at that Healing Outreach Center that Lindsay was talking about that comes in and lays hands on people for prayer.  Some tremendous things have been happening.  Hal, can you share what is happening down at the Healing Outreach Center as people are coming.  I know almost 1,000 people a day this summer 

HL:  It’s been tremendous, Richard.  The anointing that’s in that prayer room is just unbelievable.  I mean, just the presence of the Lord is tremendous.  And we’ve had people–as a matter of fact I’ve had two ladies that I have personally prayed for that have walked out of wheelchairs.  As a matter of fact–

RR:  In the Healing Outreach Center they walked out of a wheelchair.

HL:  She came in the Healing Center, went all the way through Noah’s ark into the rainbow room- 

RR:  In her wheelchair.

HL:  In her wheelchair.  And when she came back into the main part of the building we continued to pray for her and she got out of the wheelchair, turned around and we had her push the wheelchair out.  We were so excited by it, we didn’t even get her name.  So it was another lady who we prayed for in the last room and she was also in a wheelchair.  And she got out before she even got out of the prayer room and she ended up pushing it all the way through the main part of the building.  The next day she came back in, came back into the main part of the counter and I saw her walk in and I said, “Why are you back?”  And she says, “Well, I got that healing now and I want to get another one.  I have a bad ear, so I’m going back in for some more.” She went back in for some more.

LR:  That one I don’t know.

RR:  Lake Worth is, I think it’s right by Palm Beach.  I think, if it’s the Lake Worth I’m thinking of it’s right by Palm Beach or West Palm Beach.  Well, Palm Beach is close to West Palm Beach.  There’s no East Palm Beach because you’d be in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. “A few months ago, a few months ago, Richard, you gave a word of knowledge about a broken wrist with three torn ligaments.  That was me.”  Well, I guess Paul has just waited for several months now to tell me.  “That was me.  I received my healing and it checked out with the doctor.  Thank God for your program.  Send me three copies of your book, HE’S THE GOD OF A SECOND CHANCE.”  I’ll do it.  (Applause) 

LR:  Hallelujah!

RR:  And here’s a call from Temple Hills, Maryland.  “Richard, you had a word of knowledge about someone being healed in a right ear.  I said, ‘That’s for my dad.’  I stretched my hand toward the television as you prayed and rushed to the phone and called my father.  My father just before”–let’s see, wait a minute, I’m not reading this right. “I rushed to the phone and called my father.  My father said just before I called something popped in his right ear.  And so I told him to put the phone up to his right ear, which he did.  He never uses it, but he did and now he can hear perfectly well out of his right ear.” (Applause)

LR:  Hallelujah!  Praise God.  This lady called from Salisbury, is that Salisbury, North Carolina?  Is that right?  And she said–

RR:  Let’s see.

LR:  Salisbury, North Carolina? 

RR:  Salisbury, Salisbury, Salisbury.

LR:  “For three years my right ear has been deaf.  After Richard had a word of knowledge, my hearing started coming back and now I’m talking on the phone”–just like this other man–”and using my right ear and it’s getting better and better.  I praise God for my healing.”  Listen to this, this woman called in (Applause) and said, “I had a growth on my stomach six months ago.  I called the Abundant Life Prayer Group for prayer and that growth was still there.”  She said, “When the doctors took a look from my next X-ray I went to go into surgery, they looked again and they said there was no growth there, there would be no surgery.” Hallelujah.  She didn’t even realize she was healed till she went back to the doctor and the doctor said, “No growth.” (Applause)

LR:  Hallelujah!  I’ve got a precious testimony.  This is a man in Benton, Arkansas.  And he said, “God is the source of my strength and He’s healed me of back pains.  I had terrible back pains and when pain medication wouldn’t work, I went to a back specialist.  The specialist said that due to the strain on my back I had sprained the muscles in it.  I was supposed to, I was not supposed to lift anything for four weeks.  Well, my work consisted of lifting and I had a real fear of losing my job.” Bless his heart.  “Then one morning I was introduced to your program and things began to happen in me.  You said you were going to pray for God to touch those with physical needs and believe God would set them free.  I knew God was going to work a miracle and I began to agree with you for complete healing.  Then you stopped and you had a word of knowledge that someone was being set free from all of the pain in their back.  I felt God touched and healed me that morning right then.  I gave God all the glory and I continue to give Him the glory because I have no pain in my back.”  Praise God. (Applause)  Benton, Arkansas.

RR:  Lindsay, here’s a call.  It seems like the more testimonies we read the more testimonies we receive. 

LR:  Sure, because it sparks other people’s faith.

RR:  Here’s a call from Phoenix, Arizona.  “My left knee was healed, without any pain in my knees.”  Here’s a call from Chicago.  “I’ve had pain in my right side for three weeks.  It was so severe I could hardly bend over.  But, Richard, when you prayed on your program all of the pain left and I heard a loud pop like something was being put back into place.  All the pain is gone.”  Here’s a call from (Applause) Lake Worth, Florida. Lake Worth, that’s right by Palm Beach, isn’t it?

RR:  Here is a call, a letter, excuse me, from New Madison, Ohio. “This is a healing testimony that my little boy received, and I just had to write and share it with you.  He started having headaches and when they grew worse, I took him to our doctor. After seeing my son, the doctor sent us to a specialist and did a catscan on my son.  It was some kind of mass or growth, but no one could pinpoint exactly what it was.  The doctor said that surgery would probably have to be done.  One morning I took off work to be home with my little boy and your program came on.  You said that if we have a need, call the Abundant Life Prayer Group, and the number was up on the screen.” It’s 918–there it is right there, 918-495-7777.  In fact, in a moment you’re going to meet one of our prayer partners.  “I called the Prayer Group and prayed with one of the prayer partners.  We agreed together for a total healing of my son.  The next morning my son woke up, no headache for the first time in six weeks.  The doctors reexamined him and did the test again before the surgery and now nothing has been found.  The surgery is not necessary.  My son is healed and I praise God for His work through prayer.”  (Applause)  Well, isn’t that a great testimony?

LR:  See the Bible come to live.  But it’s really miraculous to see the laser.  I think there’s–is it 64 projectors in the first room alone?  I mean, there’s all kinds of things going on.  And  the next thing you know when it’s all over with, there’s yourtour guide, the girl or the young man either one, that’s ushered you through this whole thing, is laying hands on you and praying for God to work a miracle in your life.  Now where else can you find something like that going on?  It’s miraculous to see this precious young woman of God.  I had a woman go through with me. 

RR:  I had a man.  I had a man go through with me.

LR:  This woman took us all through and told us where to stand and told us what to expect and what to do, and the next thing you know she’s laying hands on you saying, “God work a miracle for your life.” I’ll tell you, the Spirit of God is moving in that place.  That is, that is miraculous.  (Applause)  Magnificent is not good enough, it’s miraculous.

RR:  And people are coming from all over America, from Canada, from all parts of the world.  And it is miraculous.  And if you have not yet toured the Healing Outreach Center and the Journey Through the Bible, come on down to Tulsa.  When you come through Tulsa in your car, you drive down Interstate 44, there’s an exit only about three miles away from ORU and you can take the exit and come out and see us.

LR:  You know, this is personal, but if I were you, I would take advantage of everything that’s here that we have to offer.  Go to the City of Faith.  Have your health appraisal taken care of there.  Go over to the Prayer Tower and go through the Journey Into Faith where it–

RR:  Journey Into Faith, which is my dad’s life story.

LR:  Right, the story of Oral Roberts and how it all began.  And you feel like you’re sitting in a tent there with the sawdust at your feet.  There’s a lot here.  There’s a lot available.  And take advantage of what God has for you.  This isn’t here for Richard and Lindsay.  It’s here for you.

RR:  What are you doing?  You missed three of those steps.

LR:  I’m falling down on the air.  You called me “an accident looking for a place to happen.”

RR:  Your cheeks are red.

LR:  I could trip over thin air, but the stairs got the best ofme and I slipped and I’m embarrassed.

RR:  Welcome to Richard Roberts Live with my clutsy wife.  

LR:  It’s true. 

RR:  I’m just kidding, I’m just kidding.  Welcome you to the campus of Oral Roberts University and the City of Faith Health Care Center and the Journey Through the Bible and the Healing Outreach Center.  And by the way, have you toured the Healing Outreach Center?  Have you been through the Journey Through the Bible?  Well, let me tell you, you’re going to hear some special testimonies from what’s been going on over at the Healing Outreach Center and the Journey Through the Bible. Lindsay, people are coming every day, almost 1,000 people a day this summer have been touring the Healing Outreach Center and the Journey Through the Bible.

LR:  They are.  I went through it and then I had to turn around and go through it again.  I couldn’t stand it.  It was so good, I had to see it again.  And, you know, the funny thing was that I had seen it in its concept, I had read what was going to happen– 

RR:  And you had been there when it was being built.

LR:  And I was there when it was being built, but that wasn’t enough. Something happens to you when you go through that building.  Something happens to your spirit when you go through there. 

RR:  When you get to that prayer room after you see it.

LR:  That is–you know, there’s no way to say it.  (Applause)  

RR:  Have you seen it?  Have you been through it?

LR:  But, you know, the bluntest way to say it is, where else can you go where your tour guide takes you through all these magnificent rooms with all this laser technology and all these wonderful things going on that’s literally miraculous and–

RR:  See the Bible come to life.

OR:  (Tongues)  God made us to be eagles, to soar into space and to carry His gospel to the ends of the earth.  God made His reward system for us on this earth to meet our needs day by day. And God sent us with His healing power to your life that you may be blessed spiritually, saved in your soul, healed in your body and given the finance to carry on your life, to meet your bills. But He’s also called you and He’s called me, and what an honor it is to get that call, to be His partners in putting His medical presence, His missionary presence in the nations of the earth. God richly bless you.  And remember, if you don’t feel led to give to missions through us, give to missions.  Support your church.  Support the missionary work.  Just be sure it’s winning souls and healing the sick.  And if God speaks to you to redirect some of your giving to help me send these medical students to the nations of the earth along with the healing teams, help me.  Make a two months pledge as God leads you. ER:  Father, we are learning about Your reward system.  And because You said it to Oral, we know that it will work for us too.  And if we plant our seeds where the soil is good, where people will be saved and people will be healed, these students going all over the world, Lord, we just believe Your reward system is going to work for us.  And so I pray for every partner today who is considering in his spirit or her spirit giving something toward this.  Just reward them, Lord, in the way You want to reward them and in the way they need it most.  I believe this because I ask it in Your name, amen. 

RR:  Lindsay.

 LR:  Father, I pray for someone who might not know how to give, but that You, God, would do as You said in Your Word and You would give seed to the sower.  Lord, I pray for that commitment that they feel in their heart and they know is from God but they don’t know how to do it, that You would honor that commitment and provide seed to the sower, in Jesus’ name.

 ER:  I wanted to say just a word before we pray, Richard.  I have a feeling that there’s a pastor sitting out there watching this program and he is thinking in his spirit, well maybe I should examine our missions program.  Maybe we’re not giving to good soil where we’re getting people saved and healed.  Maybe I should examine it and see. And maybe that pastor will want to redirect some of the missions money toward a medical student here.  And, you know, I just have a feeling that somebody, some pastor is going to do that today.  I really believe that.

Where if you were a dreamer you could peer over the hill and watch an angel tip its wing to the till and from the scroll sitting on the breath of wind, will read to Oral Roberts from the scroll, “You will never lose again.” God’s on your side, Oral. God’s on your side, Richard Roberts. I bring you word from God today, it shall happen according to the words I say and according to the words that you say. Our words become life, but we have to put life to them. We can’t sit around and pat ourselves on the back and say how wonderful God is, unless you get up off your back pockets and say, “I’m going to do something about it.” I could say I love you but if I never come to see you, how do you know? I’ve said too much but I’ve said enough and it’s the truth.

And if you don’t believe it’s the truth, talk to God about it and He’ll tell you it’s the truth. And if you talk to the devil, you will have a mental hernia. You won’t understand it. People don’t understand when you talk about money. This is the first time let me tell you something this is the first time, I’ve been coming, I was here the first two months it was opened and this is the first time they’ve ever, ever talked about money this long. I was here when the first little baby was born

I gave the first $1,000 to help babies be born. Hey, what can you say of yourself at the end of your life? Wouldn’t you like to endow a, maybe could be somewhere along the pathway of life that one of your nieces and nephews or uncles, struggling in the back door of some clinic somewhere in Zaire and there’s one of the doctors. Or stagger into the back door of a law firm somewhere, or perhaps stagger into an old church on the back side somewhere where a student had been taught the healing power of God and took it into the ghettos?

Could it be that it was your nephew? Could it be that it was a sister or brother that said, if you checked it out, where did these come? These were the seeds that God planted through a man called Oral Roberts and I’m one of his, I’m one of his seeds that he didn’t let die. And I thank God for you, Oral Roberts. I mean from my soul. I was planted all right and I was half grown and when I needed someone, these people came along. I was withered and I had no one to feed me spiritually.

Maybe some day I’ll tell that story. But those of you that love me and has ever seen my life bless you, I’m a product of regeneration because somebody endowed me. Oral endowed me. Richard Roberts said, “Come on, be on the show.” And I want to tell you, my meetings are doing wonderful. God’s blessing me. I could sit here today and tell you that I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have any needs, but it keeps my feet to the fire. So take heart, Oral, Evelyn, Richard, Lindsay. The devil’s a liar.
